I think that dropping out eliminates these difficult obsticales wether it be fitting in a social group, making good grades, parental influences, or drugs.
I believe the classes are hard work, and become uninteresting to boys in their teenage years. They resort to cutting classes, which leads to missing too many days to catch up, and eventually dropping out. I don't think that they realize the importance of their education.
Society is pressuring students to graduate and go on to college, but for some itisjust another way, to do just the opposite. So, shape up boys, because the unemployment line is getting longer every year!jwarnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17269588875036121679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-6464708712856846352010-01-23T18:38:00.884-05:002010-01-23T18:38:00.884-05:00testtestJWarnernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-64757842372856120062010-01-22T10:47:42.837-05:002010-01-22T10:47:42.837-05:00It has been twenty years now since I was in high s...It has been twenty years now since I was in high school, but even then, I noticed there were a couple of dropouts in my class, one male and one female. If I remember correctly, the male dropped out due to his partying ways, which was probably the cause of peer pressure. The female dropped out due to pregnancy.

Since then, I know that the dropout rate has dramatically increased, unfortunately. Many teenagers succomb to the peer pressure from others, use drugs, and lose their goal of success in school. Many teens find it necessary to quit school in order to work. I see this happen quite frequently in the migrant poor families.

There are so many different reasons teenagers drop out of school. Immaturity, lack of self-worth, pregnancy, finances, and even a lack of popularity are all reasons that teenagers choose to drop out of school.

It is so very sad, these kids do not realize how important an education is. Even if they are going through a difficult time in school, they need to realize that it is only temporary, and things will get better. Help is available, whatever their problems are.Moonbeamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08740091787320440653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-89677330790790714842010-01-20T21:05:43.100-05:002010-01-20T21:05:43.100-05:00It is up to the individual to shape their fate. Yo...It is up to the individual to shape their fate. You work hard for what you desire, you shall reap the benefits. No one nor any social group shall interfere, unless they are weak individuals that are insecure and scared of what others think. I am the insider so zoom in to this, prison can shape a young man into overdrive for success. Time after time again, a troubled young man, sees his fate through the same mistakes these inmates are making and has an epiphany. It is hard though because in prison, you can truly become a better criminal or a better human being. You can SUCCEED, no one, or no social group shall discourage you from being all you can be!!!Mudbeavernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-63494589448541217692010-01-18T19:53:06.641-05:002010-01-18T19:53:06.641-05:00This is a test. This is a test.Megan Biretznoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-7442582020787176582010-01-17T19:26:48.715-05:002010-01-17T19:26:48.715-05:00It is my belief that society has a major effect on...It is my belief that society has a major effect on the student drop out rate. Many students drop out because they are not able to as society say " keep up with the jones". Rather it be with clothes or with grades. High school students have more pressure then society really see. From getting good grades so that they dont look dumb to getting into a good college, to parents pushing them beyond there limts.THen on the other hand society shows his world that people can make it without an highschool diploma . But what they have not told the students is how hard it is to make it without a diploma. At the same time society shows our students just how great life can be with or without a diploma. but in the end i think that yes society has an effect on the choices the highschool student but in the end the students are going to do what they want either way .Society is just making it easierlosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16183156244848136149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-3132520456594456182010-01-17T17:20:27.194-05:002010-01-17T17:20:27.194-05:00testtestjustagirlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-89276583936260732772010-01-16T10:18:58.500-05:002010-01-16T10:18:58.500-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.pricethepig2002https://www.blogger.com/profile/12786643350172553879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-63731056789940010862010-01-13T21:38:34.829-05:002010-01-13T21:38:34.829-05:00testtestBumble Bee87https://www.blogger.com/profile/02201573300462339095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-77561327711429087872010-01-13T15:25:17.290-05:002010-01-13T15:25:17.290-05:00testtestprecioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01493366023448164722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-55840671518673626792010-01-13T15:14:51.202-05:002010-01-13T15:14:51.202-05:00So far in school I have good grades.I thought I wo...So far in school I have good grades.I thought I would just be able to get "C's" but I suprised myself and that is not the case. I do however, have to work for the grades I have gotten. Unlike some people who can come to class and get a B. I do know that this person enjoyed your class and I did say Hi to Mike for you. I am not able to comprehend what I read so I spend a lot of time reading and I am a slow reader as well. I will do my best in your class and strive to keep the grade point I have but won't cry if I don't get it. I stress out about my grades and I have to stop it. I will try to have a good time in your class.precioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01493366023448164722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-18705396330592184462010-01-13T14:32:25.420-05:002010-01-13T14:32:25.420-05:00testtesthondasi2007https://www.blogger.com/profile/01259421821419150544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-54741294548249229512010-01-11T17:51:35.774-05:002010-01-11T17:51:35.774-05:00testtestJack Jonesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-51774866394731919022010-01-11T16:22:16.893-05:002010-01-11T16:22:16.893-05:00testtestJane Smithnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1951811281604727291.post-20429278201199268562010-01-06T00:11:26.824-05:002010-01-06T00:11:26.824-05:00Your blog keeps getting better and better!
